I would very much like to welcome you to the beautiful city of
Sint Truiden and the Florint Eurofleurs Competition 2017.
Eurofleurs is the Young European Floristry Competition organised
every four years by the International Florist Organisation, Florint,
and this year in partnership with our Belgium members the Royal
Union of Belgian Florists (KUFB-URFB).
Florint has been organising the European Championship for Young Florists (Eurofleurs) since 1998. Every four years, young flower artists from different countries come to display their creativity and skill.
This gives young artists an opportunity to take their first steps on an international stage, and is ideal preparation for their later careers. The horticulture and flower arranging sectors also benefit from this event: Eurofleurs promotes flowers to an international audience. The previous edition took place in Split (Croatia) in 2013, when Elin Susan Havreberg from Norway was delighted to take gold.
This year the event is being hosted in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with the Minderbroeder site as its setting. Eurofleurs is open to the public on Sunday 17 and Monday 18 September 2017.
Can’t wait until September?
